History

Cultivated in the Loire Valley's Anjou region since the 9th century. It shows its finest expression in Vouvray and Savennières, and excellent wines are now also being made in South Africa.

Sommelier Note

Chenin Blanc is truly versatile, from dry to sweet. Dry Vouvray is mineral-rich and perfect with food, while sweet Coteaux du Layon has remarkable longevity. Don't miss South Africa's 'Steen' either.
